Randy Ray Chavez

Chavez, Randy Ray Age 56, passed away Monday, May 27, 2013. He was born in Albuquerque, NM on December 29, 1956. Randy was preceded in death by his father, Marvin L. Chavez. He is survived by his children, Caleb, Moriah, and Jordan; mother, Natividad Chavez and husband Benito; sister, Rhonda Marquez and husband George; brothers, Richard R. Chavez, James W. Lobato; niece, Luisa Archuleta; numerous other beloved family members and friends. Randy graduated in 1974 from the last class at the old Albuquerque High School. After graduation he attended TVI where he completed his respiratory therapy schooling. Upon completion of his schooling he was employed with Presbyterian Hospital for many years and eventually was cross trained for the Cath Lab. Randy was married in 1988 and found the thing he most wanted was to be a father. In 1989 his son, Caleb was born, followed by Moriah in 1991 and Jordan in 1992. Randy loved God with all his heart. He enjoyed mountain biking, and attending muscle car shows. He raised Patterdale Terriers and loved to take them hunting. Anyone who knew Randy also knew he was very delightfully opinionated about most everything!
