Randy Lee Wagner, 60, passed away on May 7, 2009 at his home in Farmington. He was born June 19, 1948 in Lancaster, PA. to Theda and the late Wilbert Wagner. He graduated from Elizabethtown College in 1970, earning a degree in math/secondary education. Randy served in the US Army from 1970 until 1972 and remained in the reserves until 1976. He worked for Mesa Airlines for 16 years, first as a mechanic, then as Director of Maintenance and later as Director of Quality Control. Randy began his teaching career at Tibbetts Middle School in 1999 and remained a dedicated teacher until October, 2008. Randy was a faithful member of the First United Methodist Church of Farmington, where he acted as a sound technician and was a member of the Pacesetters Sunday School class. Randy was an avid bowler and served as the secretary for the Farmington's Men's Bowling Association for many years. Golf became his passion during the past decade, and he frequented Pinon Hills Golf Course until his illness prevented him from doing so. He'll be greatly missed by his family and many friends. Randy was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Joyce, of Farmington; sons Scott (Melena) of Farmington and Steven (Rebekah) of Thornton, CO., two beautiful granddaughters that Randy adored, mother Theda of Elizabethtown, PA.; brother David (Carol), of Lancaster, PA.; sister Joyce (Paul) Smith of Columbia, NC. And sister Kathleen (Baron) Wanner of Elizabethtown, PA. He is also survived by his in-laws, Mervin and Joan Kline of Farmington. Cremation has taken place.
