Raul R Guerrero

Guerrero, Raul R. 66, passed away Saturday, November 30, 2013 at his home in Socorro surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Santa Barbara,Chihuahua, Mexico on March 12, 1947 to Jose and Dolores Ramos Guerrero. Raul has been a resident of Socorro, NM for the past 49 years and he was the foreman for the Indian Hills farm in San Acacia, NM. Raul's passion in life was music. He sang with many bands over the years and at one time was the lead singer for Mariachi National. He considered himself the Mariachi for everyone. Raul enjoyed the horse races, his scratchers and his trips to the casino. He was preceded in death by his sister, Maria C. Enciso, and his parents. Raul is survived by his wife, Ann Marie (Jaramillo) Guerrero; his sons, Carlos Guerrero; Pedro Guerrero; and Raul Guerrero Jr.; his grandchildren, Maria M. Guerrero; Jamie Guerrero; Samantha Guerrero; Elena Guerrero; and Pedro Guerrero Jr.; brothers, Oscar Guerrero; Felix Guerrero and wife, Grace; Antonio Guerrero and wife, Kathy; sisters, Amada Silva; Esperanza Romero and husband, Billy; Eustolia Rank; Maria E. Lopez and husband, Leroy. Rosary to be recited on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at 8:30 am at San Miguel Catholic Church, 403 El Camino Real , Socorro. The Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at 9:00 am at San Miguel Catholic Church. Celebrant Father Andrew Pavlak. Burial will take place at San Miguel Catholic Cemetery following the service. Pallbearers will be Manuel Romero, Felix Guerrero Jr., Valente Silva, Antonio Guerrero Jr., Mauro Portillo, Jimmy Lucero.
