Ray N. Arriola

Arriola, Reynaldo Nevarez Age 57, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 26, 2013. He was born in Albuquerque, NM on June 16, 1956, to Guillermo "Willie" and Mary (Valdez) Arriola. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, son and brother who enjoyed spending time with his family. Ray was a softball coach for Bernalillo for 14 years. He also officiated basketball, volleyball, and softball under NMAA for 23 years. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Arriola, and a brother, Edward "Eddie" Arriola. Reynaldo is survived by wife of 33 years, Mary Lou (Madrid) Arriola of Placitas, NM; children, Reynaldo "Ray" Arriola and wife, Vicky, of Placitas, NM, Adrian Arriola and wife, Tarah, of Placitas, NM, and Alicia Arriola, of Placitas, NM; grandchildren, Julian Arriola, Andres Arriola, Autumn Gachupin, Estephan Arriola, and Jenasie Arriola; father, Willie Arriola, of Placitas, NM; siblings, Lorraine Chavez and husband, Richard, of Placitas, NM, Viola Jaramillo and husband, Floyd, of Bernalillo, NM, Enadine Barnes and husband, Randy, of Placitas, NM, Renee Arriola of Placitas, NM, and Guillermo Arriola of Placitas, NM; Mother-in-law, Helen Madrid; in-laws, Lucy and Phil Medina, Charlie and Alice Madrid, Margie and Tommy Sisneros, Ana and Stan Gabaldon, Maggie and Rick Chavez, Francis Madrid, Christine Madrid and Andrew Madrid; many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends who mourn his passing. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 301 S. Camino Del Pueblo, Bernalillo, NM. The Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, October 2, 2013, also at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 301 S. Camino Del Pueblo, Bernalillo, NM. Pallbearers will be Alex Encinias, Gary Vigil, Gilbert Jaramillo, Floyd Jaramillo, Sammy Lueras, Martin Madrid, James Quintana, Leonard Madrid, Sabrina Chavez, Juliana Gabaldon, Leanne Madrid, and Alexandria Arriola.
