Raymond Russel Condit

Raymond Russel Condit, 83, of Aztec, went home to be with his heavenly Father on Saturday, April 11th, 2009. He was born December 7, 1925 in Hill, New Mexico to Watson and Esther Condit. He came to Farmington in 1956 after working several years in Alaska. Raymond was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He loved his family very much. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Doris, a sister and a brother, a great grandson and a great great granddaughter. He is survived by his daughters, Ann Finnan of Bloomfield and Jan Levin (David) of Bloomfield, three brothers, and four sisters. He is also survived by six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. Raymond served in the US Navy Seabees during World War II. He retired in 1986 from Utah International and was very active in the VFW Post 2182 and the Military Order of the Cooties. Pallbearers will be Paul Deal, Skye Wooten, Jerry Smalley, David Lavin, Kevin Schneider and Gene Bustos. Honorary Pallbearers will be VFW Post members.
