Raymond Garcia

GARCIA-Raymond Garcia, 74, of Edgewood, passed away on March 13, 2011. Raymond was born January 11, 1937 in Carnuel, NM to Santiago and Leonor (Griego) Garcia. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Stella (Gonzales) Garcia; four sons, Leroy (Megan), Raymond Jr. (Tracy), Matthew (Jennifer) all of Albuquerque, and Jeremy Sr. of Edgewood; one daughter, Della Andersen of Tijeras; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one brother; two sisters. Raymond owned and operated Garcia's Drilling Company for over 35 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, taking care of his livestock, and watching the Dallas Cowboys with his family. All services will be held at The Holy Child Parish in Tijeras. The Rosary will be recited Monday, March 21, at 7:00 pm. Final visitation will be at 9:00 am on Tuesday, March 22, with a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at the Barton Cemetery in Edgewood.
