Raymond C. Sanchez

Raymond C. Sanchez, age 82, was born on October 8, 1940, in Detroit, Michigan to Ishmael and Caroline Sanchez. 

Ray unexpectedly passed away on September 13, 2023.

Ray is survived by his son, Gregory Sanchez; daughter, Laurel Grimes; sisters, Barbara Cunningham and Janice Milligan; brother, Paul Sanchez; daughter-in-law, Cathy Sanchez; son-in-law, Robert Grimes; granddaughter, Delaney Grimes; grandsons, Ryan Grimes, Daniel Sanchez, and Mark Sanchez; and numerous nieces and nephews.  

Ray is preceded in death by his wife, Linda Sanchez, and brothers, Louis and Stanley Sanchez.  Ray was a graduate of Sandia High School where he met his beloved wife, Linda. He has been a member of La Mesa Presbyterian Church since the 1970s. Ray’s grace, patience, and unwavering kindness will never be forgotten.

A celebration of life will take place on Saturday, September 23, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at La Mesa Presbyterian, 7401 Copper Ave NE, Albuquerque, NM 87108.
