Age 42, a resident of Rio Rancho, NM for 11 years, passed away Tuesday, February 24, 2015. She was born in Lansing, MI, on April 12, 1972, to Richard and Sandra (Hare) Cook. Rebecca is survived by her husband, Christopher Ayles of Rio Rancho, NM; father, Rick Cook of West Palm Beach, FL; mother, Sandra Dean of Los Lunas, NM; children, Heather Scarbrough, Morgan Romero; grandchild, Jaxon Ayles; brother, Michael Cox of Los Lunas, NM; grandfather, Douglas Hare; loving dogs, Pickles, Simon, Connie, Sam. Rebecca had a love for the outdoors, animals and a good hamburger. She enjoyed soaking in hot springs and taking mineral baths. She was witty and had a gift for making friends with people. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 am, Thursday, March 5, 2015 at Daniels Family Funeral Services, Sara Chapel, 4310 Sara Road SE, Rio Rancho, NM. Inurnment to follow at Vista Verde Memorial Park, Rio Rancho, NM. In lieu of flowers donations may be given in Rebecca's honor to the Animal Humane Society or the local bird society.
