Rebecca H. McGuire

MCGUIRE- Rebecca H. McGuire, loving mother and grandmother, was called home to our Heavenly Father on Thursday, July 21, 2011. She was born on January 9, 1922 to Thomas and Ellen (Corder) Herndon of Hugo, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph McGuire; great-granddaughter, Alexis Hollenbeck; and great-grandson, Gavin Harrell. Mrs. McGuire is survived by her daughters, JoAnn Quintieri and her husband, Gene, of Waretown, New Jersey, Linda Erickson and her husband, Kurt, of Cave Creek , Arizona, Maureen McGuire and her partner, Jim Acri, of Aurora, Colorado, Margaret Cook and her husband, Rick, of Rio Rancho, New Mexico, and Dorothy Lorek and her husband, Jerry, of Wilmington, Ohio; grandchildren, Nina Thumm, Michael Quintieri, Shane Erickson, Morgan Erickson, Kelly Hollenbeck, Carrie Harrell, Jennifer Maestas, Aimee Rebecca Cook, and Andrea Lorek; 11 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. The Rosary will be recited at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 30, at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 1502 Sara Road SE, Rio Rancho. followed by the Celebration of the Mass of Christian Burial at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society www.cancer.org or to the St. Vincent de Paul at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 1502 Sara Road SE, Rio Rancho, NM 87124.
