Renee Arriola, of Placitas, NM, born on July 14, has gone to be with her beloved mother and brothers on December 22, 2021.
Renee was a treasured mother, godmother, daughter, sister, auntie, and friend. She was the truest definition of devotion. Once Renee set her mind to accomplish something, she was going to make it happen. The love she had for her daughter and family was that from the biggest heart imaginable. She loved movie night and spending time with her daughter, Alexandria, and loved her more than life itself. Her strong, charismatic, and loving personality shined through daily. Renee never hesitated to lend a helping hand, and if you needed her, she would be there. Renee was also well known in her community and was loved by anyone who was lucky enough to know her. Her laugh was so contagious, once she started, everyone would soon be laughing along side her, even if they didn’t know the joke. Renee will be remembered for her beautiful smile by so many. She was a true leader, and never backed down from a challenge. She loved spending time with family and friends. She was also a devout child of the Lord and had a presence about her that glowed with loving warmth and friendliness. Renee’s loss will forever leave an irreparable wound in the hearts of all who loved her.
Renee was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Arriola, and her brothers, Reynaldo Sr. (Ray) Arriola, Edward (Eddie) Arriola, and Guillermo Arriola Jr.
Renee is survived by her daughter, Alexandria Arriola, father, Willie (Guillermo) Arriola, sister and brother-in-law, Lorraine and Richard Chavez Sr., their adult children Richard Chavez Jr. and Sandra Chavez (Renee’s Goddaughter)(Esequiel L.), sister and brother-in-law, Denie (Viola) and Floyd Jaramillo, their adult children Gilbert (Kristin) Jaramillo, Monica Jaramillo, Anthony (Monique) Jaramillo (Renee’s Godson), Jennifer (Andrea R.) Jaramillo, sister and brother-in-law, Enadine and Randy Barnes Sr., their adult children, Crystal Barnes (Renee’s Goddaughter) and Randy Barnes Jr., sister-in-law Mary-Lou Arriola, her adult children, Ray Jr. (Vicky) Arriola, Adrian (Tarah) Arriola, Alicia Arriola, and 16 great nieces and nephews.
Paul Bearers will be Ray Arriola, Gilbert Jaramillo, Adrian Arriola, Jennifer Jaramillo, Fernando Jaramillo, Julian Arriola, Nevaeh Jaramillo, and Joseph Maes.
Honorary Paul Bearers will be Alexandria Arriola, Anthony Jaramillo, Crystal Barnes, and Sandra Chavez.
