Rev. Clovis Maldonado Jr.

Reverend Clovis E. Maldonado Jr., of Highland, Calif., passed away Wednesday, March 3, 2010. He was born January 30, 1959 in Espanola, NM, to Rev. Clovis and Sotera Maldonado Sr., Clovis is survived by his father Rev. Clovis Maldonado Sr.; his daughters, Sarah, Tabitha and Lydia Maldonado; his son Abram Maldonado all of Salt Lake City, Utah; his sisters Linda Rascon (John) of Flora Vista, NM., Rebecca Maldonado (Eric) of Farmington, NM., Ruth Velasquez (Gabriel) of Farmington, NM and Rosalie Valdez (Larry) of Espanola, NM. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Fidel and Sophia Maldonado, Lucy Maldonado and Fidel and Celsa Espinoza. Clovis was a pastor and counselor. Like his mother, Sotera, he enjoyed playing the piano and deeply loved music. He received a degree in Christian Ministry from the Southern Arizona Bible College in 1979.
