Riah Stevie Tafoya

Tafoya, Riah Stevie Our precious angel, Riah Stevie Tafoya was called home on Thursday, October 3, 2013 while surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Albuquerque, NM on June 10, 2012. A brief, but difficult, illness took her way too soon from us, but the memories of the joys we shared and the time we had with her will live forever. Riah's beautiful smile and chubby cheeks will be forever printed in our hearts. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Palma Padilla and Steve Romero; and her nana, Mary Lou Romero. Riah is survived by loving parents, Carolyn Romero and Thomas Tafoya; her siblings who were her best playmates, Bailee, Marlana Baca, Alyssa and Jadah Tafoya. Also surviving are her great-maternal grandma, Libby Padilla; her paternal grandparents, Max and Sally Tafoya; and other numerous relatives. Riah will be greatly missed by her loving family and by those whose hearts she touched. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, October 10, 2013 at 11:00 a.m., at Daniels Family Funeral Services - Alameda Mortuary, 9420 Fourth St. NW, Albuquerque. Interment to follow at San Carlos Cemetery. Casket Bearers will be Andrew Castillo, Chris Tafoya, Jerry Castillo and Nick Tafoya. Honorary Bearer will be Teresa Castillo.
