Ricardo Gutierrez Nieto

Ricardo Gutierrez Nieto, 66, of Albuquerque, passed away on January 23, 2021 in Albuquerque.

Ricardo was born in Bogota, Colombia to Blanca- Gutierrez Nieto and Guillermo Gutierrez on February 8, 1954.

He married Belgica (Bella) Gutierrez on November 10, 1983 in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. He graduated from The Community College of Air Force in 1987, (Associate of Business Administration & Management).

He served in the United States Air Force for 20 years; he served in support of Desert Shield /Storm, received the Air Force longevity service award, National Defense Service Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, NCO Professional Military Education Ribbon, and Air Force Outstanding Unit Award. He ended the remaining of his work career with another 20 years of service for the SSA (Social Security Administration) and retired in 2017.

Ricardo was preceded in death by his Parents; Guillermo Gutierrez, Blanca Nieto de Gutierrez and his sister Gladys Londono - Gutierrez.  He is survived by his wife Belgica Gutierrez, his brother Fernando Gutierrez, and his three sons Richard, Lindsey, Ivan and his eight Grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Richard Gutierrez, Lindsey Thomas, Ivan Gutierrez (Sons), Marley Thomas, Jahmiah Thomas and Gianncarlo Gutierrez (grandchildren)

Viewing will be held on February 8, 2021  from 9:00 am to 10:30 am  at Daniel’s Funeral Services

Funeral services will be held at Sage brush Church February 8, 2021 at 12:00 PM

Burial will follow at Gate of Haven (TBA)
