KIRTLAND Richard S. Begay Oct. 21, 1934 - June 9, 2011 Richard S. Begay, 76, of Kirtland, passed from this life on Thursday, June 9, 2011, at San Juan Regional Medical Center in Farmington. He was born Oct. 21, 1934, in Tocito, to Teeshorty Begay and Roselive Cohoe Begay. He was preceded in death by his wife, Julia M. Begay; his parents, Teeshorty Begay and Roselive Cohoe Begay; brothers, Charlie Begay and Maxwell Begay; sister, Mary Charlie; and three grandchildren. He is survived by his son, Ricky Begay; daughters, Patty James and Doris Yazzie; brothers, Calvin Begay Sr. and Paul Begay; and sisters, Marie Attcity and Irene Charley.
