Age 82, passed away Saturday, October 15, 2016. He was born in Elgin, IL on April 10, 1934, to
Raymond and Erna (Frey) Gnekow. He was a resident of Albuquerque since 1972. He enjoyed working in his yard, traveling with his family and he loved his two cats Kalie and Tigre. He was preceded in death by his wife, Luella; parents, Raymond and Erna Gnekow; daughter, Charlotte Gnekow and son, Paul Gnekow. Richard is survived by daughter, Tami White (Todd); grandchildren, Craig and Joey White; siblings, sister, Sue Carroll Pepa (Lee); niece, Jennifer Wong and her children; his best friend, Teresa Gnekow. Service will be held on Wednesday, October 26, 2016, 1:00 pm, at Daniels Family Funeral Services - Sara Chapel. In lieu of flowers donations may be given in Richard's honor to www.animalhumanenm.org.
