Age 58, of Ranchitos, NM was called to be with the Lord May 30, 2017 as a result of a lengthy illness. He was born April 15, 1959 in Espanola. Richard was a loving father, husband, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He loved music, at a young age he became a drummer in which he was in a band called "Diamond". He was a hard worker always on the go. He worked construction for many years. Richard loved spending time outside in his garden. He always had an open arm for anyone in need. Richard was a loving man who's family meant the world to him. He was proceeded in death by his late wife, June and his parents, Richard and Tillie Herrera, sister, Maria Martinez. He is survived by his sons, Ricardo Herrera and wife Pamela, Noah Herrera and Vanessa, his daughter, Arielle Herrera and companion Jose; grandchildren, Raphael, Juan, Sonrisa, Nathaniel and Patrick; sister, Veronica and Adrian Lopez; nephew, Adrian; niece, Amanda and Mark, Nicole and Mitchell; Adrianna, Kianna, Kaylie, Bailey, Matthew and Arianny and the mother of his children, Rosemary Benavidez and step children.
