Richard Owen McMaster

Richard Owen McMaster was born on May 13, 1938 in Hudson, Wisconsin.  Richard maintained strong ties with his childhood friends and family in the Twin Cities Minnesota area.  Richard was a dedicated, lifelong Green Bay Packers Fan.  Richard served in the United States Marine Corps and Navy. He attended Wisconsin State College of River Falls, University of Minnesota and completed his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration at Wichita State at night school.  He earned his Master of Business Administration at the University of Santa Fe. 

During his long career as a computer analyst, Richard worked at Koch Industries, Carbon Coal, Los Alamos National Labs and Phillips Labs. He was a father of 5.  He was preceded in death by his daughters Heather and Melissa.  Richard enjoyed turning wood, fishing and golfing with his grandson Liam.  Richard was a man of many passions, including becoming a Master Gardener and a talented woodworker.  He is survived by his daughter Holly and her family of Albuquerque, NM, and his son Jason McMaster of San Diego, CA.  The last six months, he was cared for by his daughter and grandchildren and boasted that this was the happiest time of his life.
