Richard Gregory Migliore

September 12, 1946 — April 5, 2021

Richard Migliore passed away on April 5, 2021 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Formerly of Reading, Pa., he was the son of Angelo Migliore of Brooklyn, New York and Marion (Lombardo) Migliore. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased in death by his brother Ron and sister Rose. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years Sherry (DeLong) Migliore and sisters in law Caroljean Migliore of Stockton, California and Rosalie Jacques of Rockville, Maryland. In addition, he is survived by nieces Sararose Migliore, Colleen Callis, and Carla Rook and nephews, Bill Jacques and Nicholas Migliore. Rick is also survived by 9 grand nieces and nephews and four godchildren. Rick is a graduate of Central High School in Reading, Pa. He earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Temple University and advanced degrees from Saint Francis University and the University of Pennsylvania. He retired from Pennsylvania State government after a career in human resource management. After his retirement, he served as an instructor for several environmental enforcement associations nationwide. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and served with pride and honor. Rick completed multiple overseas deployments while on active duty during the Vietnam War. In later years Rick particularly enjoyed hiking and fly fishing in the mountains of northern New Mexico and southern Colorado. Per his request, no services will be held. Cremation will be followed by private interment at Santa Fe National Veterans Cemetery.
