Richard E. Milligan

MILLIGAN- Richard E. Milligan. On January 27, 2011 Richard E. Milligan went to be with the Lord. Richard was born on January 10, 1938 in Nashua, IA. He was a beloved husband, Dad and Grandpo. His presence will be missed by many. In his early years he was an Eagle Scout and was in the United States Navy which he was honorably discharged in 1963. He later became a truck driver which he loved and retired from in 2007 from Colomex Oil Company. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Lena Milligan; a brother, Donald Milligan; sister, Shirley Bowers; daughter, Julia Milligan; and granddaughter, Natacia Solano. Richard is survived by his wife, Mary Lou Milligan; daughters, Brenda (Manuel) Gonzales, Bernadette (Carlos) Solano, Tina (Mark) Sowle; and one son, Richard (Pam) Milligan; grandchildren, Michael, Jeremy, Brianna, Anthony and Nicholas Gonzales, Alicia and Carlo Solano, Josh, Levi, Dylan, Kymmalee, Kelliana Milligan, Diego and Santiago Ramirez, and Aaron Sowle; brother, Ronnie (Jan) Milligan; and many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 am on February 4, 2011 at Jubilee Christian Church in Springer, NM. Burial will follow at Springer Cemetery.
