Richard “Ricardo” Dominic Romero Jr., age 34, passed away October 14, 2021 in Cuba, NM. He was born January 11, 1987 to Richard and Christina Romero in Albuquerque, NM.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Fidel Pacheco and Patsy Pacheco.
He is survived by his parents, Richard and Christina Romero; his brother, Matthew Pacheco and Tanya Mierra; his sister, Lucinda Romero and Cameron Grant; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.
He loved the outdoors and enjoyed going camping and biking. He also loved reading the Word of God. He was a member of the Holy Family Church.
Richard will be missed, dearly. The love and generosity he had for loved ones will never be forgotten. We are blessed to have had him in our lives. Although we don’t understand, he is not suffering anymore.
A Rosary will be recited Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at 7:00 PM at Holy Family Church, 562 Atrisco Dr. SW, Albuquerque, NM. A Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at 9:00 AM at Holy Family Church. Interment will follow at 10:30 AM at Mount Calvary Cemetery, 1900 Edith Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM.
Psalm 94:17-18 – Unless the Lord had been my help, my soul had almost dwelt in silence. When I said, my foot slippeth; thy mercy, O Lord, held me up.
