Richard Vigil

Richard Vigil, 93, passed away June 20, 2019 at his home in Bosque Farms, NM.  Richard was born April 17, 1926 in Gallup, NM.  He is preceded in death by his parents Flavio and Dominica Vigil and his wife of 72 years, Lucy Vigil.  Richard is survived by his children, Dodie Terrazas, Richard F. Vigil, Geri Hernandez and John Vigil, 11 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, 16 great-great grandchildren and sister, Mary Gomez of Gallup, NM. Richard honored our country by serving in the United States Navy. He also served as a member of the Knights of Columbus and retired from the City of Gallup as the Street Department Superintendent. 
Honorary Pallbearers will be Ricky Duran, Kevin Hernandez, Derrick Esquibel, Jason Analla, Anthony Maestas, Zachary Ortiz, Jonathan Cave, Gilbert Pohl, Richard "Skip" Duran, and Frank Apodaca. 
In lieu of flowers a donation at Richard's request to be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
