Richard Jerome Zulka

Zulka, Richard Jerome Age 87 a long time resident of Albuquerque, passed peacefully on February 5, 2013. He was preceded by his wife of 56 years, Rita Zulka. Richard is survived by his two daughters, Michele Zulka-King and husband Chris King, Suzanne Berg and husband, Robert Berg; grandchildren, Michael and Maria Berg, all of Albuquerque; numerous nieces and nephews and many wonderful dear friends. Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, he finished high school early to enlist in the Navy were he proudly served in WW II. Richard married childhood friend, Rita, and moved to Albuquerque in 1949. They honeymooned in Las Vegas which became their yearly get-away. He established himself in the banking industry where he spent over 25 years. As a caddy for his daughter, he himself fell in love with the game of golf. Not only did he have a hole-in-one, but also shot his age at 73. Richard will also be remembered by his love of conversation with anyone he met. He will be dearly missed!
