Rita Serna

Rita Serna Loving mother, grandmother, aunt and friend went home to be with our Lord and Savior Sunday, January 20, 2013 at the age of 92. She was born in San Fidel, NM to Nestor and Sabinta Jaramillo. Rita adored her family and loved spending time with them. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Lita Ortiz. Rita is survived by her daughters, Lydia Marie Chavez and Karen Stewart; nine grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; nephews, Bailey Jaramillo, Frank Robledo and numerous extended family and friends. A Visitation will take place at Garcia Mortuary in the Chapel of Angels Thursday, January 24, 2013 from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm followed by a reciting of the Rosary at 7:00 pm. Final Visitation will also take place at Garcia Mortuary Friday, January 25, 2013 from 9:00 am to 10:00 am followed by a Funeral Service at 10:00 am. A Graveside Service will take place at Fairview Memorial Park Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at 10:00 am. Rita will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
