Adams, Robert Stanley

Age 82, a lifelong resident of Socorro, NM, passed away Friday, May 18, 2018 in Socorro. He was born in Gran Quivira, NM on February 3, 1936, to John and Lexie Beaty Adams. Robert owned and operated his own Automotive business for over 30 years. Over the years Robert taught many of his fellow mechanics his mechanical skills. He was a member of the Socorro Lions Club and he worked with worked with Socorro 4-H teaching them how to work on their cars. Robert also loved to garden in his spare time. He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Patsy Adams; his second wife, Linda Adams; his bothers, Johnny and Roger Adams; and his sister, Betty Paine. Robert is survived by his children, Connie F. Grife, Robert D. Adams, and Stacey Adams; sister, Vickie Mora; grandchildren, Tommy Grife, Dominic Adams, Adam Grife, and Jeremy Adams. Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at 11:00 am at the Socorro Cemetery. Pastor Andrew Martinez officiating.
