Age 59, he departed this life, in his home surrounded by his family, Thursday, August 20, 2015. He was born in Des Moines, IA on August 15, 1956. Robert is survived by wife, Debra; son, Matthew and wife Mekenzie; daughter, Rebecca; father Warren; mother-in-law, Lydia; brother, Russell and family; brother, Rodger; brother-in-law, Joe and wife Debbie, and family; granddogs, Teddy and Nala; and many loving extended family members. He was preceded in death by his mother Rose and sister-in-law Myrna. Robert was a Rio Rancho resident for 25 years. He graduated from Hot Springs high school in the spring of 1976 and married his high school sweetheart, Debra in the summer of 1977.   He was a jack of all trades; he worked as volunteer firefighter, hotel and restaurant manager and spent 15 years working as an orthotic technician at Carrie Tingley Hospital. He loved spending time with his wife; he enjoyed going to car shows with his son, going to movies with his daughter, and spending his time baking and cooking and candy making and he had a large passion for comic books.
Services will be held with a celebration of life to follow at 10:00 am on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at Daniels Family Funeral Services - Sara Rd, 4310 Sara Rd SE, Rio Rancho, NM. In lieu of flowers donations may be given in Robert 's honor to the American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org/donate and registration as an organ donor,.
