Robert Birtwistle

Robert (Bob) Birtwistle, 94, passed away October 25, 2023. He was born May 24, 1929 in Bend, Oregon to Lee Melvin and Elizabeth Lillian Williams Birtwistle. Bob was preceded in death by his 3 brothers, George, Gordon, and Clatus. He worked as a farmer, served in the Navy on the USS Castor during the Korean War, and at Crystal Cream and Butter Company in California. 

Bob is survived by his wife Carolee Cuddy Birtwistle, daughter Joan (Leslie) Hart, grandchildren Robert Hart and Jennifer (Zachary) Fort, and great-granddaughter Ariella Fort. Bob and Carol were married 73 years at the time of his passing. He and Carol loved to travel and were able to visit all 50 states. Family, however, was the most important thing to Bob. Bob will be greatly missed by all of his immediate family, extended family, and friends.
