Robert "Bob" Busick

Age 88, passed away in his home surrounded by loved ones on April 18, 2015 at 12:16 am. Bob was born in Salem, Oregon on July 31, 1926. He was preceded in death by his beloved son, Barton G. Busick and parents, Claude D. and Althea Busick. He is survived by his children; daughter-in-law, Beth Busick,  son, Gary S. Busick and wife Chris, daughter, Laurie A. Peterson and husband, Larry, son, Kevin R. Busick and wife, Carla, daughter, Sherri A Busick Rother, Step-son Brent Heisch and wife Tricia; Grandchildren, Jerry Busick, Belinda Franco, Gabriel Busick, Jamin Busick, Meagan Busick, Ryan Gomez, Ashley Gomez, Robert Peterson, Dylan Peterson, Justin Peterson, Gary Rother, Kyle Rother, Christopher Rother; and 9 Great-Grandchildren. Bob served in the Army Air Corps at the tail end of WWII and so thankfully, he never saw combat. He was an avid fisherman, loved hunting, aviation, golf, Astronomy and the sciences, Big Band music, jamming on the piano like only he could, and had farming in his blood. Many of our fondest memories will be stargazing in the midst of his beautiful vegetable garden, listening to him tickling the ivories with unbridled joy, or debating with whomever might engage, in the theories of everything. We're going to miss you, Dad, Grandpa. We Love You. Memorial Services will be held Friday, May 1, 2015 at 1:00 PM in Daniels Family Funeral Services-Wyoming Chapel.  Family requests that any donations be made to woundedwarrior.org.
