In Loving Memory of Robert Joseph Chavez

Robert at age 72, passed away April 14th, 2020. Robert was born in Albuquerque, NM to Felipe and Mary Chavez, he will be greatly missed, but always remembered by his family and friends. He attended Albuquerque High, NM. Robert also served from 1965 to 1969 in New Mexico Air Force National Guard and served 1 year in South Korea. On December 2, 1967 he married the love of his life Beatrice Lopez at Holy Family Church in Albuquerque, NM. 

Robert loved life and working as a painter and cook, he was a Dallas Cowboy fan. He also enjoyed reading his bible attending at Azusa Christian Faith, playing guitar and singing, gardening, playing chess, running, boxing, and horse races .

He is survived by his daughter, Darlene Dilley of Albuquerque, NM, brothers; Teofilo Chavez, Paul Chavez, Phillip Chavez, Anthony Chavez all of Albuquerque, NM, sisters: Linda Chavez, Shirley Chavez of Albuquerque, NM, and over 100 nieces, and nephews, 4 grandchildren: Robert Joshua Chavez, Madison Dilley, Isaiah Dilley, Shayne Dilley and 2 great grandchildren: Elijah Chavez, Jaylia Chavez. He is preceded in death by his parents Felipe Chavez and Mary Mercedes Atencio Lueras,  brothers; Oriol Chavez, David Chavez, and son, Robert G. Chavez in 1996.
