Robert Richard Bob"" Crawford

Robert Richard "Bob" Crawford passed from this life into life eternal on Sunday, May 24, 2009 at the age of 89. He was born July 22, 1919 in Pagosa Springs, CO to Lin and Willie (Caulk) Crawford. Bob was proud to have served his country in the US Army during World War II receiving a Bronze Star. He was a caring, generous and loving individual, always there to help anyone in need. Bob enjoyed hunting, fishing and traveling in his motor home. He enjoyed being around friends and family; the more the better. Bob was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife Vera; his second wife Elizabeth; brothers, Les, Jesse and Lin Crawford; sister, Etha Gilliland; and half-brothers, Ray and Dave Murray. He is survived by his son, Dennis Crawford and his wife Martha of Helena, MT; step-son, Olen Sledge and his wife Susan of Aztec; step-daughter, Donna Blackwell and her husband Iley of Aztec; numerous grandchildren; and niece, Eileen Patterson and her husband Ray of Yellow Jacket, CO. Pallbearers will be James York, Clinton York, Olen Sledge, Iley Blackwell, Shawn Blackwell, Chris Blackwell, and Shilo Murch. Arrangements are entrusted to Cope Memorial Chapel 404 W.
