DOYLE- Robert (Bob) Doyle passed away Monday, August 24, 2009. Bob was born June 17, 1935 in Abilene, Texas, and lived in Floydada, Texas and Portales, New Mexico, where he graduated from Eastern New Mexico University. Bob married Carolyn Prude 52 years ago and they raised three sons, Joe Craig and wife Janet, Clay and wife Pam, and Cole and wife Sally. Also surviving are grandchildren Casey, Caitlin, Chase, Levi, Isaac, and Nicholas, and one great grandson, Anthony. Bob's brother Lonnie predeceased him. His brothers Don Doyle, and sister, Thelma Ardessa survives, in addition to many nieces and nephews. Bob and Carolyn move to Albuquerque in 1957, and he taught art at Washington Junior High School, ran the Career Opportunity Program for Albuquerque Public Schools and taught at the APS School on Wheels. While at Washington, he masterminded elaborate floats for the school's entries in the city's annual Christmas parade, and also intricate stage settings for the school's May Festival events. His artistic talents were evident in his home, from additions to furniture, and he passed on to his sons the desire to build and beauty their homes. He and Carolyn were extremely involved in their grandchildren's lives and derived great pleasure there from. Services are pending at this time. Services have been entrusted to:
