Robert Felson Sr. died may 9, 2011, in Gallup, New Mexico. He was born February 10, 1952 in Rehoboth, New Mexico. Felson was born into the Bitter Water Clan and born for the Zuni People Clan. Felson began his academic career at Church Rock Elementary School. He attended Central Junior High and he earned his high school diploma from Gallup High School. Felson continued his education at Long Beach Technical Institute. He work tenure included Giant Refinery, Wal-Mart and Home Depot. Felson was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and he supported Gallup Bengals athletics. He enjoyed being with family and friends. Felson loved to travel and he enjoyed playing his guitars. Felson was an active member of the Native American Church (NAC). Survivors include his wife, Bernice W. Felson, of Church Rock, New Mexico; son, Robert Felson Jr., of Farmington, New Mexico; daughter, Melissa Paul, of Sandtan Valley, Arizona; brother, John Felson Jr.; sisters, Laura Felson, Laurel Felson, and Pearlene Felson, all of Pinedale, New Mexico; and three grandchildren. Felson was preceded in death by his parents, John Felson Sr. and Fannie B. Felson; brothers, Roger Felson, James Felson Sr., and sister, Rosemary Felson. Pallbearers will be Ray Trephibio, Donovan Felson, James Felson Jr. Byron J. Felson, Leighton J. Felson and Manny Watchman. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Church Rock Chapter House. Arrangements are entrusted to: Cope Memorial Chapel
