Robert Franklin Ferguson

FERGUSON - Robert Franklin Ferguson, 66, passed away on Sunday, May 29, 2011 in Socorro, NM. Robert was born on May 21, 1945 in Liberty, Texas to Benjamin and Martha (Richards) Ferguson. He is survived by his loving wife, Micheal Ferguson; his son, William Doyle Gant; his daughter, Melissa Kay Gant and husband, Darryl; his grandchildren, Destiny; Cheyenne; Kyler; Breezy; and Autumn; his adopted daughters, Edie Reeves, Deanna Prentiss, and Sonya Urton and adopted grandchildren; and many cousins and friends. Robert was a resident of Datil for about 7 years after moving from the Houston area, which he lived most of his life. He was an avid outdoorsman and was a jack of all trades. He enjoyed working on machinery. Robert was a good husband and provider. He loved his children and grandchildren to the fullest. There was never a stranger Robert would not be friend and he was always one to lend a helping hand to anyone. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
