Loving husband, father, son, brother and friend went home to be with our Lord and Savior on Thursday January 19, 2012 at the age of 51. He was born in Myrtle Point, OR on May 4, 1960, to Bobby and Geneva Gonzales. Robert adored his family and loved spending time with them. He also enjoyed playing the Lottery, was a huge fan of the Washington Redskins and enjoyed caring for the family pets, Scruffie and Monster. He was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Gonzales and grandparents, Bennie and Helen Jimenez. Robert is survived by his loving wife, of 27 years Sharon; daughter, Nichol Edwell (husband Billie); son, Armando Gonzales; mother, Geneva Gonzales; sister, Pamela Gonzales; brothers George Garcia and Flavio Gonzales (wife Yvette); mother and father-in-law Laurence and Bea Gonzales; sister-in-law Karen Gonzales; brother-in-law Steve Gonzales (wife Susie); and numerous other family and friends. Robert will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. A Viewing for family will take place at Garcia Mortuary in the Chapel of Angels on January 23, 2012 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm. A Rosary to be recited at St. Anne Catholic Church, 511 Alicia St, Santa Fe, NM on Monday, January 23, 2012, at 7:30 PM; Mass of Christian Burial will also be celebrated at St. Anne Catholic Church Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at 10:00 AM, Celebrant Father Leo Ortiz. A Graveside Service and Interment will take place at Santa Clara Cemetery in Wagon Mound, NM following Mass, Celebrant Deacon Charlie Duran. Pallbearers are Armando Gonzales, Joshua Gonzales, Steve Gonzales, Billie Edwell, George Garcia, Matthew Ortega. Robert's care has been entrusted to:
