Robert L Kent passed away peacefully on Monday, February 16, 2015 surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his wife of 37 years Marilyn, his sister Earline Pankey, his children Mark with wife Amy, Michelle, Kim with husband Henry, Karen with husband Kory, Elaine, Kristi with husband John and grandchildren Aaron, Trevor, Jared, JT, Sarafina, Rachel, Nicholle, Konner, and Blaise. He was preceded in death by his parents Earl and Mamie Kent, brother Carl, and his sister Mabel McPheeters. Bob was born in Dupo, IL on August 28, 1934. He was a great basketball player in school, for the Demolays, and for the Army. Bob joined the Army out of college and began a lifelong career in the furniture business. He and Marilyn opened The House of Kent furniture store in 1985. They retired in 2006. Bob enjoyed traveling, was a passionate and talented golfer, and loved all his wonderful friends. But mostly he enjoyed his family. Bob will be greatly missed. Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Monday, February 23, 2015 at Daniels Family Funeral Services, 7601 Wyoming Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at Risen Savior Catholic  Community, 7701 Wyoming Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM.
