Robert Lucero

Robert Lucero, 71-years-old, passed away on Monday February 7, 2022. He was born to Antonio and Florence (Chambers) Lucero on January 11, 1951.  Robert was known for his ease in conversation with complete strangers.  He could make friends anywhere.  Robert always enjoyed a good laugh and loved golf, gambling, fishing, camping and hunting.  He firmly believed that people should enjoy life and have fun.

Robert is survived by his wife of 21 years, Pam Lucero, daughter Tana (John) Lundgren, Toni (Jim) Wakeley, Roberto Lucero and Gabe Lucero. Grandfather to 3: Keisha (Ty) Robinson, Brittany (Nick) Gomez, and Kaylee Lundgren.   Great-grandfather to 4: Brooklyn & Bennett Gomez and Bridger and Tymberlee Robinson. Siblings and Spouses: Eileen Saiz, Dennis (Jennie) Lucero, Carolyn Lucero, Kathy Valles, Lorraine (Jerry) Olguin, Tony (Peggy) Lucero, and Lizzie (Robert Olsen) Lucero.  Robert also had numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and adopted kids in Wyoming. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Roy.

A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 pm on Saturday February 26, 2022 at Daniel’s Family Funeral Services – Southern Chapel -  2400 Southern Blvd, Rio Rancho, NM 87124 followed by a reception at the family home.
