Robert Lee Lucero went home to meet the lord on9/23/22 with his loving wife of 43 years at his bedside. Robert was born to Alberto and Ramona Lucero on 8/28/57. Robert worked at the VLA and owned two tire shops until they closed down. Robert loved the outdoors especially fishing, hunting, and going on short road trips with his wife Mary Ann. Robert greeted everyone he met with a smile. He was loved and will be dearly missed by the community of Datil and his faithful furbabies aka his dogs. Robert was proceeded in death by his parents Alberto and Ramona Lucero, his father and mother in law Tomas and Eufrasia Torres. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years Mary Ann Lucero, his sisters Helen (Richard) Rivera, Sandy (George) Osterman, one brother Ernesto Romero, his brothers and sisters inlaw, many uncles and aunts, nieces and nephews, and many friends. Services for Robert are Monday Oct. 3rd with a rosary starting at 11:30am followed by a viewing at Daniel's Funeral Home. Rosary and Burial mass will be on Tues. Oct 4th at the San Miguel Church starting with Rosary mass at 9:30 followed by burial mass at 10:00am.
