Robert Rubel Martinez, Sr.

Martinez Sr., Robert Rubel Age 57, beloved husband, father, brother and uncle, passed away into the hands of his Heavenly Father on Thursday, July 18, 2013. He was a life long resident of Los Ranchos De Albuquerque. He proudly served his country for much of his life, in the United States Navy, during Desert Storm, and Air National Guard. He was a member of the American Legion Post #69. Robert was a proud native New Mexican, who enjoyed life and was well loved by his family and friends. He will be enormously missed. He is now in perfect peace with his mother, Cecilia, may they both rest in eternal peace. Robert is survived by his wife, Cindy; his children, Robert II, Fabian and Catrina; his sisters, Marianne De Costa and husband Manuel, Patricia Burr and husband Steven; his brother, Martin; nieces, Cecilia, Nicole, Lauren; nephews, Levi and Chayton. To pay our last respects, his family will be receiving guests, Friday, July 26, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services - Alameda Mortuary, 9420 Fourth St. NW, Albuquerque, NM, followed by an Evening Service at 7:00 p.m. He will be laid to rest on Monday, July 29, 2013 at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. Military Honors will be accorded by the American Legion Post 69 Honor Guard.
