Robert Bob"" McCachren

McCACHREN - Robert "Bob" McCachren, 76, passed away April 29, 2009. He was born July 24, 1932 to Kathryn and Albert McCachren, in Columbia, Pennsylvania. Bob is survived by his wife of 29 years, Mary Louise McCachren; his step son, David Young and his wife Kim, of Albuquerque, NM; son, Robert McCachren and his wife Gail, of Easley, SC; two grandchildren, Robert, III, and Ryan; two step great grandchildren, James and Angela. and his daughter, Vicki Clapp and granddaughter Disa. He is preceded in death by his parents. Bob met his wife, Mary at Sears, where she was employed for over 26 years. He retired from the Air Force as a Lt. Col., manager at Allwoods, and also worked at Wood Workers Supply for many years. Bob was an excellent wood craftsman, and enjoyed remote controlled airplanes at Rocky Mountain Flying Machines. He loved working with his hands, traveling and watching football. Private services will be held.
