Robert Xavier Padilla

Padilla, Robert Xavier Age 52, a resident of Corrales, NM, was called home by our Holy Father on August 17, 2014. He was born in Las Vegas, NM on December 10, 1961, and was raised in the North Valley of Albuquerque, NM. Xavier is survived by his loving parents, Robert and Rose Marie Padilla; three beautiful children, Melanie Padilla, Eusebio Padilla, Venessa Padilla; 6 grandchildren, Michael, Lawrence (J.J.), Daniel, Dominic, Hailey, Joziah; 2 devoted sisters, Stephanie Olguin and her husband Joe, Monique Valles and her partner, Ed Gifford; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends all of whom he loved dearly. He also leaves behind his loyal dog, Willie. Xavier was an avid river and stream fisherman and he loved to camp, especially in the northern mountains of New Mexico. His laughter and the loyalty he had for his family and friends will be greatly missed by all who loved him. He was a devout Catholic, a parishioner of San Ysidro Parish in Corrales, NM. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm, Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at San Ysidro Catholic Church, 5015 Corrales Road, Corrales, NM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am, Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at San Ysidro Catholic Church. Interment to follow at San Ysidro Catholic Cemetery, Corrales, NM.
