Robert Ray Ruley

Ruley, Robert "Ray"
Age 92, passed away Wednesday, February 18, 2015. He was born in Yeso, NM, on January 2, 1923, to Leonidas Allison and Pearl (Moore) Ruley. He worked for AT&SF for thirty eight years and was part of the Railroad Union. Robert served in the First Cavalry with his horse Stoney serial number 5U27. He was also a member of the Church of Christ. One of his favorite hobbies was playing golf.  He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of over fifty years, Anne Konougres; son, Tim Ruley; grandson, Matt Hartline; siblings, Henry, Homer, Katherine, Mary Elizabeth, and Beauford Lee. Robert is survived by his brother, Ross Ruley; children, Robin Rotolo and her husband Joe, Laura Speer and her husband Greg; grandchildren, Kelly, Erica, Garret Speer; and numerous nieces and nephews that he loved dearly. Service will be held on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at 10:00am at Daniels Family Funeral Services Wyoming Chapel. Interment to follow at Fairview Memorial Park 700 Yale Albuquerque, NM 87106.
