Robert Charles Schmidt

Robert C. Schmidt
Age 79, passed away Sunday, April 1, 2018. He was born in Wellston, MO on December 23, 1938, to Alex and  Maradia Schmidt.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sophia Ann, his parents, four brothers and two sisters.  

Robert is survived by daughter, Linda  (Rick) Van Paris of Albuquerque, NM., granddaughters;  Deanna Madrid of Ukiah  Ca, Reyna Enciso, and grandson Rey Enciso, of Albuquerque, NM. Great-grandchildren;  Sol, Decarlo and Ricardo, also numerous nieces and nephews. 
Robert was employed at Hoover Co., Allwoods, and also Old Timers Fire Extinguishers, which he owned. He loved spending time with his family and his pets. He was a member of the Catholic Church. 

Robert served over 20 years and retired from the US Air Force. He was highly decorated and served in Korean and also served in SE Asia.  He married Sophia Ann Sweeney on September 10, 1960 in Las Vegas NM.  Bob was a kind and gentle man. A man of integrity and wisdom. He will be missed. 
 
A Rosary will be held on Monday, April 9, 2018, at 6:00 pm, Daniels Family Funeral Services, Wyoming Chapel, 7601 Wyoming Blvd. NE Albuquerque, NM .
Mass will be held Tuesday 10:00 am at Risen Savior Catholic Church. 7701 Wyoming Blvd. NE Albuquerque, NM. Interment will be held at Santa Fe National Cemetery, Wednesday April 11, 2018 at 11:15am.
