70, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 14, 2012. He was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey on April 18, 1941, to Jacob and Dorothy (Stein) Schwiegerath. He was preceded in death by his beloved parents and his sister, Anne Eakley. Bob held a Bachelors degree and was a pharmaceutical Chemist. He retired from Bristol Myers after 27 years of service. He then moved to Socorro in 1997 and reported the weather for El Defensor Chieftain for 14 years. Bob was a jack of all trades, and had many interests. He was a member of the Killifish Association and also a board member for six years with the Gordon Settler Club of America. He was an amateur astronomer, train buff, and enjoyed completing puzzles, and following weather patterns on the weather channel. Bob's true passion was his dogs. He raised and loved Gordon Setters for over twenty years. He is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Rosanne (Saul)Schwiegerath; his children, Dori Moretti and husband, George; Robert Peter Schwiegerath Jr.; Greg Michaels and wife, Nan; David Michaels; and Karen White and husband, Dave; and six loving grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions and donations may be given in Robert 's honor to: AKC CHF Gordon Setter Donor Advised Fund, C/O Dianne Avery, 10650 E. 200 South Avillea, IN 46710-9651.
