Age 60, passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2015. He was born in Framingham, MA on August 8, 1955, to Robert David Tero Sr. and Nathalie Lavezzo.
Robert graduated from Holliston High School (Holliston, MA) in 1973, where he was a highly accomplished athlete, recognized for his football, baseball and basketball achievements. He then attended the University of Massachusetts where he played football. He worked for La Montanita for eight years and he considered the Co-op to be his second family. Robert's hobbies were golfing and cattle ranching. He enjoyed spending time with family, especially watching his granddaughter's soccer games and swimming. Robert was part of many organization such as, 18 National Retail Food Co-ops, 15 local farms and ranches, 5 local food hubs, Wallace Center, RMFU, NCG, FFSC, MoGro, NMCDC, Durango Food Hub, AVOG, SWEDC, and Colorado Springs Public Market.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert David Tero Sr. and Nathalie Lavezzo. Robert is survived by former wife of 25 years, Kathleen Tero; daughters, Megan A. Buquoi (Nathan), Kelly R. Tero, Caitlin R. Tero; grandchildren, Cambria R. Tero and Gabriella R. Buquoi; brother, John Tero (Lilly); niece, Melissa Cordaway; aunt, Diane Frazier;.
Service will be held on Wednesday, November 4, 2015, 10:00 am, at Daniels Family Funeral Services - Wyoming Chapel, 7601 Wyoming Blvd NE. Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
