Robert E. White

White , Robert E. Age 87, passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2013. He was born in Skiatook, OK on January 7, 1926, to David and Julia White. Robert served his country proudly as a member of the United States Army Infantry in WWII and was a Merchant Seaman during the Korean War. He retired from Sandia National Labs where he worked for 29 years. He was a member of the Trumbull Neighborhood Association and was instrumental in obtaining land for Trumbull Neighborhood Park. Bob�s first love is spending time outdoors with his family, sail boating and hiking. Robert is survived by his loving wife of 60 years Mary; children Tom K. White and wife Laura, Lola K. McDaniel- Couey and husband Eugene; grandchildren Michael White, Ronan White, Arryn White, Kimberly McDaniel and great grandson Jerod Troy Newland. He will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved him. A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 24, 2013, 10:30 am, at Daniels Family Funeral Services, Strong-Thorne Chapel, 1100 Coal Ave SE, Albuquerque. Inurnment to follow at Fairview Memorial Park, Albuquerque.
