Roberto E. Montoya

MONTOYA-Roberto E. Montoya, 84, a resident of Albuquerque, NM passed away November 1, 2010. He is survived by his companion of 17 years, Juanita Quintana of Bernalillo, NM; son, Joseph Montoya of Albuquerque, NM; daughters, Lorie Gallegos and husband Carlos of Albuquerque, NM, Luanna Rascon and husband Patrick of Los Chavez, NM, Debra Montoya and fiancée Ray Lucero of Rio Rancho, NM; grandsons, Levi Gallegos, Andrew Gallegos, Nathan Rascon, Nicholas Rascon; granddaughter, Crystal Montoya; great grandson, Francisco Gallegos. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille Montoya; daughter, Neva Montoya. Roberto’s passion was to celebrate his culture in every way including fiestas from Belen to Bernalillo, never missing one. On Saturdays he listened to 89.1, KANW, New Mexico music. A Rosary will be recited at 10:00am, Wednesday, November 3, 2010, St. Therese Little Flower Church, 300 Mildred Avenue NW, Albuquerque, NM 87107. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow the rosary. Interment to follow mass at Vista Verde Memorial Park, 4310 Sara Road SE, Rio Rancho, NM.
