Rocky F. Romero, age 65, passed away Sunday, May 1, 2022 in Chimayo, NM. He was born March 11, 1957 to his parents Luis and Lucy Romero in Ely, NV.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 35 years, Wilma (Valdez) Romero; his parents; brother, Armando Romero; sisters, Carol Romero and Esther.
Rocky is survived by his sons, Gabriel Ortiz and fiancé, Kelly and Robert Romero and wife, Nicole; grandsons, Gabriel Robert Ortiz and Ben Kenton; granddaughters, Jade Romero and Samantha Eylicio, all of Albuquerque, NM; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; he is also survived by sisters, Yolanda and Geraldine; brothers, Ray and Roy; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Rocky enjoyed fishing, working on cars; loved Westerns and Pepsi. He was a very caring and loving person with everyone.
A Visitation will be held Friday, May 13, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM followed by a Funeral Service at 1:00 PM at New Beginnings Crestview Church, 301 Chama St. NE, Albuquerque, NM.
