Roderick "Rod" T. Frechette

Frechette, Roderick Thomas Joseph Age 76, passed away Friday, June 20, 2014. He was born on March 7, 1938, in Van Buren, ME. He was preceded in death by his parents, Denis and Germaine (Long) Frechette; brother, Elmer Frechette; sister, Greta McCloud; infant son, Brad. Roderick is survived by his wife of 55 years, Theresa (Genovese) Frechette; daughter, Pamela Sauer; son, Roderick Frechette and wife Michelle; 6 grandchildren, Matthew and Emily Sauer, Rod, Thiery, Marguerite and Catherine Frechette; sister, Rose Bledsoe; brother, Herman Frechette; thirty one nieces and nephews. He had deep love for his family. Rod resided in Rio Rancho, NM for the last 18 years after living in Connecticut for 55 years. He was the proprietor of the family business, Manchester Wallpaper and Paint. He served honorably in the Army National Guard from 1958 through 1963. He enjoyed golf, bowling, blackjack and poker. A regular 'honey-do" man, he was constantly painting, doing carpentry and landscaping. His generous and kind personality led him to make friends easily and he always liked a good joke. A visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm with the recitation of the Rosary at 7:00 pm, Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at Daniels Family Funeral Services, Sara Chapel, 4310 Sara Road SE, Rio Rancho, NM.
