Roger Dean Kimsey Horvath

ROGER DEAN KIMSEY HORVATH, 65, a resident of Farmington since May 1995 went to be with his Lord Tuesday, October 27, 2009 at home with loved ones by his side after a two-year battle with lung cancer. Roger was born January 10, 1944 in Durango, Colorado the son of Ross Kimsey and Emma Marie Paulek Kimsey. Roger married his high school sweetheart Elaine Brown on October 5, 1963 and they were married for 46 years. He retired from Rust Tractor Co. and Wagner equipment with honors after 36 years of service. Roger's favorite hobbies were fishing and hunting. Roger is survived by his loving wife Elaine Horvath, daughter Tina (Neil) Sebestyen, son Mark Kimsey, three grandchildren whom he loved and adored Austin Kimsey, Alyssia Kimsey and Serra Kimsey; good friends Dr. Ron Calwell, Dr. Mike McCanlies, Dallas Reynolds and many other hunting and buddies; step-father John Horvath, mother Emma Horvath, sister Sandy (Lee) Campbell, half brother Roy (Suzie) Horvath; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and many dear friends. He was preceded in death by his father Ross Kimsey and a granddaughter Gabrielle Michelle Kimsey. In lieu of flowers the Horvath family suggests that donations be made in Roger's memory to Guardian Angel Home Hospice, 4801 N. Butler Ave. Suite #3000, Farmington, NM 87401.
