Ronald D. Allison, age 79, passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2015 in Rio Rancho, NM. He was born to Orlando and Geneva Allison November 11, 1935 in Parker, CO. He is survived by his loving wife Bonnie Allison; daughters, Rhonda Webb of Edgewater, CO and Judy Allison and husband, Bill Finch of Denver, CO; son, Donny Allison of Lakewood, CO; three grandchildren; five great grandsons; brother-in-law, John Dozzo and sister-in-law, Barbara Dozzo of Rio Rancho, NM. He served as city councilman and mayor of Edgewater, CO prior to moving to Rio Rancho, NM 12 years ago. As a resident of Rio Rancho he enjoyed golfing and was a member of Chamisa Hills Men’s golfing group; he also enjoyed working with his hands and woodworking. He attended the United Church of Christ in Rio Rancho. He was also an avid fan of the Denver Broncos. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, July 25, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Daniels Family Funeral Services, 2400 Southern Blvd SE, Rio Rancho, NM. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011 or to the Wounded Warriors Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675. There will also be a Memorial Service and Interment at St. John’s Cathedral, Denver, CO on July 28, 2015.
