Born in  Grindstone, PA to William and Ella Crossland on October 5, 1936, Ron was a loving husband and father, a long time employee of BF Goodrich and an enthusiastic supporter of his wife's dream to establish a non-profit childcare center and ministry. His last donation to the nonprofit was his beloved 1981 Mercedes convertible. He loved to tell stories to his children and grandchildren. He was a true "people person." He passed peacefully surrounded by loving family after a struggle with pneumonia.

Surviving him are Dorothy Crossland, his wife of 59 years, and his children, Deborah Hill, Beth Ann Crossland and husband Greg Tindel, Bill Crossland and wife Carolyn, Jim Crossland and wife Dianna of Phoenix, 6 grandchildren and 2 step-grandchildren. His sister, Karen Hall, and two brothers, Kent and Von, as well as numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, and friends also survive him. He was preceded in death by his newborn daughter Deanna Jo and both of his parents.
